These are lightweight aluminum frame construction with a tough abrasion resistant deck that withstands the coldest of temperatures and glove friendly micro adjustable ratchet buckle system so they are very easily adjustable. Just pull this tab up to move the straps up or down as needed or you can ratchet this way to tighten as needed. You got two straps over the foot and you got one heel strap that adjusts in the usual seatbelt style buckle. Will you just pull the strap to make it tighter.The claw design on the bottom, which you can see here, really grips snow and ice and resists build up on the bottom of the shoe. they do come with a one year limited warranty.
